The answer is more often than not yes, but there are a lot of other elements to consider. When you are booking a band, check out what kind of music they play. If they are a 60s rock band, don’t ask them to play Freed From Desire, and equally, if they’re an Ibiza Classics band, don’t ask them to play Sweet Caroline.

If you love the band you’ve found, trust that they know how to craft their set list to get the most out of your event. These set lists have often been tried, tested, tweaked and improved to make it flow seamlessly and keep your guests partying all night long. And, you’ll get the best from your band this way!

Equally, if you have lots of requests, chances are that there is a band out there already, perfect for your event! You just need to find them.

And if you love the band you’ve found, and they don’t play ALL the tunes that you want, then there will always be an alternative to either play those tunes in the playlist during breaks, or in the DJ set (if you’ve booked one).
