JBMAC is a professional high energy DJ live act based in Henley on Thames, specialising in creating unforgettable musical experiences for private events, weddings, corporate functions, and festivals.

What type of music do you play?

We specialise in a versatile mix of genres tailored to your event's atmosphere and audience. Our repertoire includes mainly contemporary chart hits, dance classics, house, UK garage & drum n bass.

What makes JBMAC different from other DJs?

JBMAC combines traditional DJing with live musical elements for a unique performance experience. We pride ourselves on reading the crowd perfectly, seamless mixing, and creating a personalised atmosphere for each event.

How far in advance should I book?

Saturdays in summer season book up a year in advance, however, it’s always worth asking. Other days of the week and times of year are much more flexible. We take bookings up to 18 months in advance.

Do you travel outside of Henley-on-Thames?

Yes! While we're based in Henley-on-Thames, we regularly perform throughout Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, London, across the UK and abroad. Travel expenses may apply for locations beyond a 30-mile radius and overnight accommodation required for any journey over 2h30 minutes from Henley-on-Thames.

Performance Details

How long do you typically perform?

Our standard performance packages include 2 x 1 hours of live music with 1 hour 30 of DJ. However, we're happy to discuss your specific requirements.

Do you bring your own equipment?

Yes, we provide professional-grade sound and lighting equipment appropriate for your venue and event size. This includes PA systems, DJ gear and stage lighting. For larger events, we can arrange additional production elements.

Can we request specific songs?

Absolutely! Please request what you like for the ceremony aisle walk and exit, first dance and DJ sets. For our live sets we ask you to share any “nos” and 5/6 “absolutely must plays” from our Spotify repertoire and leave the rest to our expertise.

Do you take breaks during performances?

We usually take a 30 minute break between our 2 x 1 hour evening sets. During this time, we'll have pre-programmed music playing so there's never a silent moment at your event.

Pricing & Booking Process

How much do you charge?

Our pricing varies depending on factors such as date, duration, location, and specific requirements. Please contact us directly for a personalised quote tailored to your event needs.

What's included in your standard package?

Our standard package includes:

  • 2 x 1 hour live sets with the line up of your choice

  • DJ between and after sets

  • Professional sound engineer

  • High-quality sound system suitable for your venue (PAT tested)

  • Atmospheric stage lighting

  • Public liability insurance

How do I book JBMAC for my event?

The booking process is simple:

  3. Confirm the booking with a deposit (typically 50%)

  4. Finalise details of the day

  5. Final payment due 30 days before the event

Technical Requirements

What space do you need to set up?

We typically require an area of approximately 2m x 2m for a standard setup. For enhanced production with additional lighting or sound, we may need more space, but we can shrink or expand depending on the space available.

Do you require power outlets?

Yes, we need access to at least two standard power outlets within 5 meters of the performance area.

Can you perform outdoors?

Yes, we can perform outdoors, weather permitting. For outdoor events, we require a covered, level area with access to power. In case of inclement weather, a backup indoor option is strongly recommended.

Do you have backup plans in case of emergency?

Yes, we have contingency plans for equipment failures and maintain relationships with other professional musicians who can step in if illness or emergency prevents us from performing.

If you’re local, absolutely in person! For those further afield, we're happy to arrange a video call, or phone conversation to discuss your event in detail and answer any questions you may have.
